Other darlings
HUGO II. Pampadžúni Èvíkota
Hugo´s ancestry become from
south-west Africa and it is one of the smallest parrots – Agapornis
roseicollis. It is our first animal friend, which we bring to our home
in January 2004, from this moment he brings joy into our lives with its
whistling. Hugo is very outgoing and he loves to communicate with our
domestic appliances – he answers to microwave, dishwasher, electric oven
beeping. Simply said, thanks to Hugo we don´t forget to operate with any
our home machine. Thank you little Hugo!
QUENTIN von Melich
Born 9.7.2006 FeLV/FIV negative Tino is our first cat and he is the reason of our later decision to establish cat cattery. Despite of our little parrot Hugo, my children couldn´t give up their minds to have pet which they can play with and hug it. Younger daughter started with sparing money for a dog and I started with apprehensions – ...what about going out with that capelin wonder, training, feeding, combing, shampooing...?! I have enough of my own cares about our home, my work, children, husband... and every one in our family is „so busy“, except me - of course... Every day I went through few advertisement papers and I was scared by the idea that my daughter one day will find the right one advertisement for her! Once I found in the papers – „british blue kittens for sale...“ I was thinking: „Cat is lovely, snuggling, there is no need to go out with it... maybe this is the right pet for us...“ Except all positives, I started to think about all cat prejudice – clawing, smelling, moulting, they are disease and infection vector... However, the idea of little purring kitty with big eyes... I decided to call to my friend – cat lover. She has cat, I need to assure by my own eyes and nose...
We
arranged our visit – or better said – my inspection. My friend has not
only one cat, but two – a pair of british blue cats – a cat and a tomcat.
It was love at first sight! They charmed me with their velvet silver fur
and a pair of big orange eyes looking at me! Fantasy! My „inspection“
fall out very well and I looked forward to that moment when my daughter
will be allowed to buy a little british kitty...
So in the
summer of 2006 our little love Quentin came to
our home. At the beginning he was shy and we
really couldn´t consider him as snuggling darling but very soon this
little wonder won our hearts. My husband, who
perceived the presence of new family member distrustfully and his
attitude was “it´s for girls delight…”, after some time began to speak
with him, and we catched him while he was kissing Tino´s
little head… After time all of us agreed Tino needs some companion and we bought a friend to him – our beloved Corina. This is the story how Tino became the reason and the founder of our breeding station. And the fact we love him so much caused, that the name of our station contains also his name. We connected both names of our darlings and created the name Quenticori.
REBECCA "von Tesco"
Born 19.3.2008
Becky
is the great victory of my younger diligent dauther against hard
oposition of other family members. As it is said – nothing´s impossible
when you really want and my daughter´s desire was really really enduring!
So... on one May morning of 2008 arrived Becky – little toy puddel puppy.
She was bringed to us by one willing man from Presov city and as he
knows in our city only way to famous supermarket, Becky obtained her
special forename immediately. Homecoming of new family member caused great shock to our cat darlings – both, Tino and Cori were from that capelin wonder surprised at first, than they started to be offended by Becky and also by us! Cori spent two days at our highest furniture and she refused to eat any yummy, per which I wanted to allure her. Even she refused to look at me!
In
these days they are big friends and it is nothing better than to look at
them while playing. My mum´s reaction at Becky´s arrival was: „Only she
was missing in your family...!“ Yes mum, you are right – she really
missed in our family!
